(NYSE: HOT) opened its third vacation ownership resort in Hawai'i, The Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas, in April 2008 and hosted its grand opening celebration on October 23 to officially mark the debut on the Garden Island of its distinct and refreshing new style of accommodation. The resort joins its sister property, Princeville Resort, continuing Starwood's 60-year tradition in the Hawaiian Islands.
Located on Kaua'i's North Shore, the oceanfront property comprises 18.5 acres dramatically perched 200 feet above Hawai'i's famous Anini Beach. The resort features 173 two-bedroom villas, four pools, three whirlpools, a two-story clubhouse, a restaurant, and general store. Villas are also offered as nightly rentals for visitors seeking larger accommodations for family travel or longer stays.
